The guy who has brought thousands of Explorer owners together has no local Explorers to wheel with This summer I decided to drive out to NJ and pick up a project car rather than spend the money on a 4x4 road trip. First time I've done anything, but wheel for our summer vacation.

I made it up there once this year .. It just drizzled on the run.. Of course it was the maiden trip trailering the explorer to a trail and the explorer ended up pulling the trailer home (killed the cam on the tow vehicle).

Like most everyone attending, it'll be up in the air if my rig will be ready due to some mods that need to be done. Mostly its my trac-bar that needs relocating. It's a good thing I looked at it after my last trip out with it (Cleghorn) because the mount at the frame end is starting to tear off...good stuff huh: ? Good news is that it's the frame tearing and not my welds haha.
I've been collecting quite a bit of firewood from the jobs i've been working at, the gardeners are more than happy if I take it off their hands. Problem is it won't be dried out for a few months and these are good sized rounds. I did score some nice sized stuff that is nice and dry to bring out for this run though
In any case, I'll be there rig or no rig plus I've got a video cam now so I can take some footage to add to Stic-o's movies.
