hifidelity-if you got the 5.5 kit with the upper arms they come with uni-balls, call fabtech and ask them for the uniball part number, or like i said just go to a fab shop or offroad shop and get them for like 50 each....
hey arvin-ever get ahold of chad? i never did so i never sent my spindles to him...that guy is just too hard to get ahold of.

yeh i got a hold of him. i left him a voicemail and he just called me back on saturday. i remember last year u could get ahold of him, but now mcneil offroad has gotten bigger and takes about four times more business then last year.

well since i can't get ahold of chad i still haven't gotten my arms yet...i looked at camburg again but this 6" kit is so in demand that they are out of the spindles, they'll be machining some more and should have them the first week of june, so if i can get ahold of chad before then, then i'll go mcneil if not then i'll just have to sack it up spend some extra cash and go camburg...i can always sell my spindles on here so i wouldn't be out that much....oh and hifiedility i think jeff might be right i don't know if fabtech makes a uni-ball kit i was thinking of the cambrug 5.5" kit that uses fabtech coils/uniball upper a-arms.

ya guys, hes got a ranger, and they use balljoints on all their kits, even the "LOONNNNGGG TRAAAVVVEELLLL" one. but you can always set up like arvin does, with custom upper and machine a uniball in to the top of the lift spindle.

btw. any of you guys comin out to pismo for memorial weekend?

i didnt think that fabtech made uniballs either, if you are gonna spend the money on a whole upper arm set up dont waste you time with balljoints unless its just to look cool, ive seen pics and heard stories of people binding and breaking upper balljoints and the entire wheel folds in in the desert. the uppers that i have only cost me 700 and they were easy to install.

20 questions time...im guessing your still gonna be using your kings right? do you also plan on bumping the front? and what are you gonna limit it at? i also thought that kit was like 1.5" wider per side so do you think you are going to have to get front glass? and finally how big of a lift would it be if you didnt crank up the bars to be that full 6" inches or so?

ok, current plans are use the kings for now but im researching different options such as 2 2.5'' or a 2.5 bypass and bump. probably gonna limit it at 12ish, gotta make sure the steering dont bind up. Glass--yes. not gonna crank the tbars fully, so probably will let it be like 4.5-5. 3.5'' with the spindle and the rest on the TT.

ok well i'll share too- i was depressed being that i'm the person who started the thread wasn't the first with the kit...so i went to camburg and put a deposit on the kit so as soon as the spindles are done being machined...i'll have them, with the rest of the kit

oh ya jeff-i forget do you have a v-8 or a v-6...did you have to pick up some new rotors or have you even gotten that far in looking yet?

i got the 6 so i need to find new rotors. im gonna give camburg a call tuesday and find out everything i need and any other pertinant info. do the 8 rotors fit? i think i might just grab em from a ranger, see what they say?

thats what they recommended to just upgrade to the ranger rotor...the kit uses approx an 11.25" diameter rotor but the ranger rotor measures out at 11.28" which is the same as a 2wd v-8.

yup yup. actually it will be 33s with 430 or 456, i drive alot of freeway due to work. 33s i think due to clearance issues in the rear at full bump. dont want to rip my tires up or limit my travel. but they are coming, dont you worry. :D
