no the spindles won't be done until june 15th i just called yesterday....well it depends what engine you have b/c the v-8's and v-6's have different size rotors i believe...but i know for sure that the camburg kit uses an 11.25" rotor.

you guys still plan on using your sway bars? im not sure what im gonna do about mine when i go to the desert

so did anybody actually get and install the kit? if so let us know how it went

hey anybody of you guys comin out to pismo for july 4th??

i would like to if i can get the truck fixed and get off work

i've been so busy lately the kit's just collecting dust...hopefully it will be on in two weekends i'm taking a summer class plus work so i've had no time....but hey arvin i will most likely be in arroyo on july 4th so i might make it out to the dunes not sure yet..

yeah i know how that goes im workin and have school too, it sucks no time for workin on the truck

alright well after all this bs-ing it's finally gonna go on....my last day of class is today and i took two days off of work next week wed/thurs to install the lift so no more excuses it's gonna get done...i had to measure my rotors, those are fine at 11.25" diameter, my only other concern was alignment, talked to scott at camburg and he said all the explorers he has put the kit on needs aftermarket cams and my camber's already off as it is so i still have yet to get new cams but other than that it's just a straight install, no welding no nothin, the only thing i have to do is drill frame to get the limit straps on but that should be no problem....i hope to have the kit installed by wednesday night and then i'll get it aligned sometime on thursday, and then let the fun begin.

cams are really easy. they are like washers you put on your upper control arm bolts and then get them aligned. lets see some pics on here when you get it all done i still havent seen an X with the 6.0!

Ok so the bottom line is to run the Camburg Edge kit you need the Rotors off of a V8 Expo or a Ranger Edge, + The V8 Expo Brake lines are your smooth sailing? I am dying to get that kit on my 03 Sport. -Jeff

you need 11.25" rotors and no i dont think that v8 ex brake lines will work because i think they would be the same length as any other ex. you need extended ones

Ok. I am going to try and get the kit this weekend.

Do I need to run a different caliper with the 11.25" rotors?

im pretty sure you dont because the 4.0 rotors are almost the same size

Correct me if I am wrong, but I had spindles put on my 96 Explorer Sport and I believe Explorer ProComp makes extended brake lines.
