8.8 may not be up the challenge anymore on your rig, have you considered other rears or upgrading the 8.8? truss, axles, carrier, etc?

(pppst 9")

4 door ex with 5.0L and a clutch on 37's = pushing it!! LOL

Heh... you must not have paid to much attention to my other posts..

I have full width axles waiting to go in  A 44 and a 60 from a 1979 F250... I just want to get the truck rolling again until I have the money to "Link" it.... Chromoly, Heims, Shocks , etc....

<------------------------------------- missed it LOL

Well, I am going to the Pull-your-part yard on Saturday morning to try and get a cheap 8.8 trac-lok and a Jeep inner axle to fix both my axles... I'll post what I can come up with.
If I can come up with parts Ill fix my axles this weekend and re-install my 4.10 gears... then I can get back to work on these other projects, like my Custom door panels !! Keep your ears on....
-Tim

Alright, I was able to get....

-A nice Trac-lok Carrier in great shape...
-A plastic bushing for my gas pedal.......
-The plastics that go around the steering column (for a Stick shift)
-A Gear shifter and boot with innner boot (So I can re-design mine)...
-An air duct that goes to the rear of the center console(mine was missing)
-And some miscelaneous rubber grommets and such...

Grand total with tax and environmental fees was $100.00 .

I still need to get an inner axle shaft for the dana 30 to be 4X4 again, but I didnt see any wranglers there, So I will get that probably next weekend or something. Atleast for now, I'll be running again....

Well, I am completely back together again....

I had minor, well no a mjaor incident though. lol . Lets just say if you gut your dana 30 front housing...
make sure you leave the tiny little outer shaft that goes through the wheel bearing hub, because it sandwiches the hub together and without it the hub will seperate and your wheel will break off, your front end will fall on the ground, the brake line breaks when your wheel goes down the street by itself and you dont have any breaks to stop. Oh yeah and the tire might bounce off the side of your truck and damage your fender you just had painted... oh and if your not as lucky as me, your tire might hit and hurt or kill someone and you might wreck or roll over if your going fast enough...

Anyway, I am back together and tomorrow I will be working on finishing my front door panels..... Keep an eye out!

Holey moley man!! LOL live and learn!!

thats a heavy and tall sob to have 3 wheels and no brakes!!
glad its back together, how many speakers in each door? LOL

Yeah... tell me about it! LOL! Its a good thing I was just taking off and I have plenty of wheel travel....

I am going to have Two (5X7) Infinity components in all 4 doors..... Two 6.5" components on the rear lift gate... maybe Four eventually and Six Fosgate HX2 10" Subs...

any updates on how the truck is doin since the wreck? how'd the door panels come out?

Very nice explorer!! Looks good, more pics would be great.

Back from the dead again!! yay!

-Truck is doing good.... I only sustained minor damage from the "incident" lol. So for now it will have to remain.

-I havent been working on the door panels, but I think I might go ahead and try to get them finished hear soon. It has been hectic for me lately. Ill try to keep yall posted on progress.

Thanks for the compliments!
