Ha! Major step man! I don't want to start hacking it without thinking it through because I can't just weld it back on if I hate it. I agree with you about the sheet metal.
Besides, it isn't like I am just talking. Took my rig wheeling today and added a few scratches!!!
I am getting a house and my very own garage next month (closing June 18), so I imagine I could start hacking then if I decide to do it...
Mime? Thats funny! I should have taken his arm off or something...
The biggest drawback I see is that I won't be able to sleep in my truck anymore. I have it setup with a tool box that folds down onto the folded back seats and gives me (and the wife) a perfect place for a queen size air matress. I have a tent and a camp trailer, but the trailer is a pain to drag around and I hate sleeping on the ground.

You want hillbilly? A guy up the street from me just chopped up a jeep (saw it today). It was a SUV type one with only 2 doors. The doors still have the window frame and window in them. No roof at all (not even over the front seat). No tailgate or anything. The rubber seal is still hanging where the tailgate used to be. Just junk held in with bunge cords.
The doors with the window frame and windows, yet no roof, and lack of a tailgate make it look really dumb (IMHO)
