I will say I am jealous...You did an excellent job on that X. I am impressed. :biggthump

You going to get the decals?

EDIT: Maybe If I read the post I would have answered my question above.

Nice work man! Nice to see it all painted and untaped! You are an inspiration.

Did you spray clear on it yet or are you still going to do that? If you don't clear it, that spray bomb will oxidize really fast...

Looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to see it with the decals!

awesome Jurassic Park explorer deamon3... I've always wanted to make one! but... when are you painting the rims yellow to match? :P

Yes I put clear on it , It's not 100% shiney but it is protected. I'll paint the rims as soon as I can find some stock ones.

nice job, turned out real good

that looks badass!you my friend have skillz and some patience, would love to do that to my ex but its my daily driver so i dont think so

turned out great cant wait to see it with the decals on her.

Right now, without the decals or any JP references or the other accessories it probably just looks like a freaky paintjob to anyone who doesn't know about the JP Explorers.

Looks really sharp for spray can work. You did an excellent job taping off the red and getting the green/yellow fade perfect.

Ok , I got my hood decal in the mail but it's pretty small. It's actually the crest logo for the jeep doors. So I'm debating whether to stick it on the hood anyway , or stick it on the back window.

Here's what it looks like, as you can see it's kinda small for a hood decal but it was really cheap so I'm wondering if I should just stick it there anyway. Or maybe I'll stick it on the back window.

The different colors are in pieces , You can see the white piece that goes under the black , that's the biggest it gets.

I decided to just stick it on the hood. Mostly because I have to keep costs down for this project (I'm super broke lol) and cannot go and buy another decal slightly bigger. That and this decal really wouldn't work anywhere else on the car , I put it up to the rear window glass and it was big enough to where I wouldn't be able to see out as I back up. lol

Oh also , I painted my bull guard some today

You'll never believe what I saw in town today. I saw one of those Centaurus Conversion Explorer's parked at a local pizza place. I ran home fast to get my camera and when I got back it was gone :(

It was in pretty poor condition , but all those rare parts where still on it and it good shape , I wish I coulda asked the owner if they wanted to sell some of those parts

I see a red one every morning on my way to work. I cant get a pic because hes always going the other way on the highway, but I keep a camera in my truck. Its kinda ugly, but it would be a good start to build the raised roof.

I saw one of the original Explorers from the movie in a movie car museum. It was pretty cool. Don't forget to put the wooden box on the dash like the movie explorer. Remember the box they were talking into? It's still in the one in the museum.

If you mean the Star Cars Museum then that is a reproduction car not an original. they did a very bad job with the hood stripes lol
