Yea I better get my t-rex coverage for my insurance. lol

You can probably get away with just using the decal on the hood for now, then maybe going bigger if you come across something.

Keep in mind you could do the side decals by only buying the black outline (one color vinyl, especially black, is cheap), and doing the center colors as a spray paint job. You could ask the shop that does the vinyl to keep the outer part, and use that as a template for masking tape, spray the center colors, then once it's cleared and super dry, use the water trick to align the black outline and squeegee them on.

Thats exactly what I'm planing on doing. That local shop said the regular black decals would only be something like 90$ for two.

Sorry haven't updated for a bit as I'm currently painting somebody's motorcycle. But I have been driving my new car around and it certainly gets a good response , here's a pic with my boat just for kicks.

Nice. Did you end up putting the decal on the hood then? Any plans to paint the wheels as well?

Yes I applied the decal , and will also paint the wheels

I like it. I like it alot. Nice match on the trailer. Now paint the boat!

lol no way , that boat is 52 years old and still has the original gel coat on it lol

Just kidding on painting boat--it looks Great the way it is, and I agree with Brandon!! Looks great!!

I'm coming to this party a little late in the game, or I'd have suggested several extra coats on the front during the process. Now, I'd suggest taking the time to add a few extra coats of clear to the front end to add some protection from the inevitable pock marks you'll catch from rocks and pebbles after a few months on the road...

As a side note, I painted my jetski with rattle cans of smooth finish yellow and white Hammerite about a decade ago, wet sanded with 600 and 1200... shines like a professional finish without clearcoat to this day.

Another $100 just for stickers, geez. Since you're so good with taping and paint maybe a few more spray cans would be cheaper?

Then again there's always the 60 cent rolls of vinyl electrical tape...

Got a bit more done today and painted the driver side wheels! Also worked a bit on the brush guard.

"Chairman Bob approves".... this X. lol

I don't think painting the wheels was such a good idea if you were planning to trade them for a set of the stock 5 holes...and hopefully some BFG's. Paint comes off, sure, but they might not look as nice afterwards. Plus you might have to do the work of taking it off since yellow wheels can be a tough sell. Chairman Bob seems to approve, though.

Any pics with the front bar?

Something tells me deamon3 isnt looking to sell any of it anytime soon with all the work he just put into it ;).

u need the saw blade rims though. RAWR. the Trex can taste the difference

If somebody drops off a set of free stock rims then I'll paint those , until then I keep painting the ones I have. Also the tires I have on my ex are practically new so won't need those either.

As for the brush guard no pics yet. I'm going to be adding the lights to it soon and the headlight guards as soon as I order them.
