Snow = 20-30 degrees and fun for all. :)

we officially got 15.1" in the past 2 days :D it was definitely a fun weekend for the explorer... cancelled classes at OSU monday definitely helped too

In OHIO??? I'm coming down there and filling the back of the X with snow and running the A/C :D

I went out this evening, the snow was up to my headlights.
I plowed right through without trouble and went cruising for about 3 hours.
There sure was a lot or sights to see. When i get back I just backed right on in to the spot that I left.
Boy it sure was alot of fun.
I wish you guys could have been there.

we got 25.6" here on Longisland.. =)

wish u were here

Heh...2 FT of snow, and my ride is still in the shop...go figure.

Mike that is the sweetest picture. Damn, I'm about ready to quit my job and drive out there :D

I haven't even seen snow let alone drive in it
weather report 18/02/03
mim 70 deg
Max 85deg
but a couple of weeks ago it was 110

Well, we got another 4" or so overnight here. Makes a total of about 26". What sucks is I have to work today so I can't go play in it!! :shoot:

Tell me about it! I live in NJ, we got about 15" and my truck isnt running right. So it sat untill this morning.(Took it to the shop)

When I get it back, I hope i can still have a little fun with it! :D

28 inches here and you can come and get it. I'll even help you load it up. Just get it out of my drive way.
Don't be to jelous of us. I think we got less than a foot
for the past three years. ( I could be mistaken but I an not too far off ) So we all just got it at once I guess.
Now for the fun part, making sure I have flood insurance. It is going to get real wet once this stuff melts.

Here's a pic of my explorer after about 5 hours of shoveling. I gave up and just started packing the snow down by driving on it. In the pic it's sitting on approx. 8"-10" of hard packed snow.

yep....27"

An hour of shoveling, and I could only get out of my on-street parking spot. Of course, my jerk friends are calling me from my home state of Texas, complaining that they had to wear a long sleeved T-shirt since it dipped below 68 degrees the other day......
The worst part of all this is the ski mountains didn't get any snow! The storm dumped on Boston, but not Vermont!!!!! And I'm not about to pick up cross-country skiing!
Karl

thats right there in no snow in Vermont, everyone stay at home and dont come skiing, all those NJ joeys were up here htis weekend ruining my trails damn city skiers

I got stuck!!!! how embarassing!! I was ok for the first 50 miles and got up to a real rural area that wasn't plowed.... fine.....until the stupid car in front of me decided that he was going to stop dead in front of me and I had to swerve around him .....off the road i went into a steep embankment.....luckily I didn't hit a tree. I tried backing up....low gear...all of it...nothin.... my winch control is broken (some idiot I was pulling out allowed the cord to get eaten up by the winch). But I dont feel too damn bad.....a tow truck driver stopped and was chuckling and shaking his head .....well I was embarassed at first.....until he got stuck bad (he was further up the embankment than I was) and he had to call his partner on his cell to come get both of us out.... sheesh what a day.....
