exhaust problems

i have a 2000 mounty with a 5.0 an on the exhaust manifold theres a egr tube that has two lines that come off of it well the hoses keep popping off so i clamped them on then they blew apart so i bought new ones and was told that my cats were pluged so i took the exhaust off at the manifolds they still popped off so i bought a new egr valve they still pop off whats the deal? any ideas ? it starts and dies fine but chugs a little also.

I wonder if the egr valve is plugged -you might try cleaning it. Yeah-it's going to be a bummer taking it off, but it is doable. Are the hoses blowing off the dpfe sensor or the egr tube?
Possible the dpfe sensor is plugged also-
Does the check engine light come on?

Welcome to this forum! Check the catalytic converter, and the EGR to see if they are partially clogged.

i replaced the egr today and i have the cats off and it still blows the hoses off both at the manifold and the dpef sensor

Why don't you just bypass it?
