if you dont get to a yard by july ill swing by a yard when i get home and send you one

july - im gona have a set ready for you by the time your home dont worry -

if the front is wider then the back ill get a staggered set of wheels

well with the long travel for the front it will be at least 3 inches wider on each side if not more and we will mount a king shock with a new mount. Trust me macknos94 when this kit is done and on my truck many people will be happy.

This will be the first real kit with new components

haha ok sounds good. i have 2 weeks R&R so ill have to get all my **** installed

by the time i fix all the bugs install will be easy

sounds good to me

Just read over the thread, sounds like a cool plan. Though i dont see why you would need new arm controls for the roadbully-offroad spacers. I just installed 2 inches in the front and 1.5 in the back, and the angles are 100% perfect and fine. And what i wasnt expecting was it ride pretty close to stock. Id recommend the spacers, considering the cost is a heck of a lot lower.

i have 3'''spacers theres no way i could use stk. arm

tryed that now the trucks parked 3 weeks straight

this kit is for some one who want more lift on there explorer 3'' to 5'' easy

going to cost more then the 250 unlike the spacers

more like a long travel kit for way less then 4 grand

All i was saying is the spacers are great for 2inches of lift, in fact roadbully-offroad's design is like that of an F-150 leveling kit.

yeah but thats not what this thread is about

please stay away from the spacer talk i want to get more travel and better ride

thank you for you comments

So BTF is doing the work now, not G-machine? I'd love to see a built thread posted up so we can follow. Or on dezertrangers where there are tons of build threads.

But shouldn't you have the front and rear done together? I mean, if the front is done and the rear is stock, that will prevent you from being able to truly test the capabilities of the new front end. And it would be so sick to have long travel IRS, 3 and 4 link straight axles have been done plenty before. The way i'm imagining it too, with IRS you would have a better chance of keeping the rear seats than if it was linked. You would have the coilovers come up behind the seats.

Either way, this type of project has been a long time coming, i'm glad to see someone's finally taking these trucks to the next step. I just hope this project gets completed, it's a huge undertaking.

yes this will not be a easy task-

im going to have some one build the upper control arm and uniball

as far as the spindle im going to have that made once that made then well have the control arms built

all in all it will take time but i got as much time as it take for me to make a kit that every one can buy that will work great so.. i wont stop till its done..

not sure what im going to do with the rear.

the TRUCK SITS NOW SO EATHER WAY IT WILL SIT UNTILL I FINISH NOT WORRIED

Won't you need to extend the cv half shafts as well? or is this only for the front (2wd)?

i have the 4wd but ill be getting extended cvs. there suppose to be bullet proof

well sence were working together on this i will have the ones you speak about

If they're simply extended versions of the stock CVs, then i doubt they'd be any stronger than stock, in fact they could be weaker. There are some that i think are used on buggies and high-dollar vehicles, i think they're called 930 CVs or something, i also think i've heard that porsche CVs could be used because they can work at steeper angles. Again, this is all just recalled from memory, not totally sure about it. Either way, extended CV shafts are $$$.

930's are ok, but even the lighter rails/buggies have issues with them. 940's are where it's at. If someone could make a 300m shaft with 940 cv's adapted to the stock ends then it would be golden. Unfortunatly i've looked into it and it's by no means cheap.
