Exterior Mods

Who has awesome mods to the exterior of your car or truck? If you do, please post them on here. I dont mean performance mods (unless u just want to post those) but like stuff you did to it for looks.

1. Lowering windshield wipers
2. Window tint
3. Remove yellow reflectors in headlight (if legal)
4. Smoke taillights (if legal)
5. Re-painting windshield wiper arms if they are at all faded
6. A good wash and wax

OO, yeah, I second lights.

Forgot about these, not really mods though but they really improved the look IMO.

BFG All-Terrain KO's with raised white letters and new stock corners and headlight lenses.. so clear and shiny... and MUCH brighter..

-Painted the rear reflectors (Mountaineer)
-Blackouts (GTS)
-5.0 Emblems
-Lower grille Mesh insert
-"Bugflector" and window shades
-Green Xenon fogs and headlights and accents

things coming this summer:
-Shark Fin Antenna
-Angel Eye Fog Lights
-Lowering just the front end slightly

i also removed my running boards and sprayed bed liner over it

I also have grille guard with 2 PIAA 520 lights

also i took off the front lower bumper piece.... I did it when i thought i could jump my explorer lol

Thanks for responding with your exterior mods. This is what i am planning on doing. I have a 1997 Ford Explorer 2wd, 4dr, xlt, 5.0l, v8 engine.

31" tires all terrains
Possible a tt and spindles
Paint rims black or new ones
off road roof rack
lights on roof rack
air horn
brush guard
Window tint
the window shade things

what i already did:
took off skirt off front bumper
replaced stock fog lights with off road fog lights
custom cb antenna brackets
"bugflector"
removed the nerf bars (made it look too low. may put them back after lifted)


so i think this is it for the exterior mods right now. is there any more yall think i am missing? I am always up for ideas. Tell me what you think.

I dont know if you noticed this but we have same X except you have v8 did you look at my X in the pics above it has several things you listed above such as black wheels 31 BFG All Terrains grille guard off road lights

O BTW i have my shackles and TT bolts on the way right now so i will post a pic once they are installed so you can see with about 1 1/2" lift

yes your explorer is like exactly what mine would look like except i want to paint it black. If you could post those pictures that would be amaizing. but the 31s fit under there with no lift? no problems? any trimming at all? Thanks for your responses.
