Also mr cribb came up yesterday and traded a set of power doors off my parts Explorer for his manual doors. Now to see if I can find a set of blue manual panels for them to put in mine.

cooool. I ordered the 8.8 spring-over swap package from ruffstuff and my box was all beat to crap and had a hole in it...

Yea, I know you can do it that way but it will still eventually burn it up if you use it a lot. Just doesn't get enough oil with a oiler. Also the York moves a lot more air and don't have to use a oiler and will last forever.

yea the york is self oiled so its the best option i know. not sure if it exists or not, but if theres an oiler and oil remover with 2 ends so you could loop the removed oil back up to the oiler. that would be awesome.

depending on the price of finding a york myself, if its to much or i cant find one ill go with a 2nd stock one. i still need someone to make me a bracket to mount 2 compressors to, that way i still have ac (*hint*hint*chime in someone who can make one)

cool build, really surprised on the axle damage you have done, drive it like you stole it?

I'm beginning to think you just like buying parts and not actually doing anything with them

Got home from work today and this was waiting on me. Got it for a good deal so I said why not. Got it threw one right quick. Really nice shifter. Made a extension right quick to use with the 3" body lift. Also have room to actually use the cup holders now. Thats the main plus in my book.

Also got the gasket kit for the york today.

Going to try to swap diffs in the front axle and get the 9" put together this weekend so they will be ready to bolt in. Hopefully it wont be long now.

Got the axles put together this weekend.

Swapped the carriers out in the d44, cleaned and repacked the wheel bearings and new seals, new rotors, put the diff cover and sprayed a little paint on it. Only thing it needs now is the camber bushings.

Set the backlash in the 9" and put the pinion guard on and new pinion seal and swapped on some new axles bearings and threw it all together and sprayed it with a little paint. Just need the weld on the caliper mounts and it will be ready to go in.
