Hood Scoop

my dad bought it for his truck but it didn't fit. so i got it from him for free. :eyebrow: it's a SVO mustang style from Summit racing. its a stick on but i decided to make it a real scoop. i put it on backwards because i've read that it will draw in more air this way.

the only bad part is that it covers my Cheap thrills painted on the hood.

With that paint job you could probably touch it up real easy and redo the cheap thrills stencil work.

I'm going to repaint the whole truck soon.
i made sure that the sparks were going the other way from his truck.

i decided to make the scoop function
i used a 3"-4" drier vent reducer and factory air box.

here's were it goes into the scoop.

i used a drier vent cap and glued it to the scoop

you can hear it going down the road.

very nice! one of the only ppl i've ever seen actually make a scoop work, just watch out if it rains

haven't had a problem with the rain.
it was funny though i was running in the dunes and went thru a water hole and the windsheild fogged up.
