Does anyone know a starting point wesbite where I can see all the little laws no one really knows about regarding how police can pull you over? Id love to catch a cop on a technicality one day

not sure how fast i was going the ticket said 110 plus. i was in my 93 mustang. i was racing a camaro with 2 guys in it and they lost big so they went and got there buddys camaro to try again thats when the cop got me. the ticket was for 500 dolars. i was in a 55mph zone. luckily it was just a speeding ticket and not for racing cuz the other guy smartly left when the cop left him to come get me.

I know this is really random, but did you know that when the police in Michigan pull you over, they walk up to the back of your car and they put their hand on the trunk? That way, if you happen to kill the police officer on this traffic stop, they can identify your car because it has the cop's fingerprints on it.

I dunno, I just thought that was kinda interesting

So when they see a car that matches the description, do they pull it over and run up to back and dust the trunk really quick?

I heard it was to make sure the back was closed, because there have been instances where people hopped out the back while the officer was talking to the offender, and they have shot the officer I believe, so thats why I believe they check to make sure back doors and trunks are securely shut.

Just to add to my record some ******* cop pulled me over tonight at 245 am just because my blinkers were white which makes them illegal, why cant cops just get a life and focus on the more importiant stuff

redshift: haha i got caught 4wheelin in a no tresspassing zone too, i knew i wasnt supposed to be there but it was sooo much fun! its hard to resist and the no tresspassing sign makes u wanna do it even more! anyway it was 11:30 at night and it was in the middle of the desert too! i got a court date to find out how much my fine was but then i got a letter in the mail telling me that the date was dropped! LUCKY~!

I had a friend who got from LA to Vegas in 3hrs flat. Used his cb to talk to truckers to find out where the cops were. they called him the "the Crazy nut in the red car"

not sure of the speed, because the speedo in old my 83 grand prix stoped at 160. but the cop said that the plane was having trouble keeping up.

if you're wondering how i got busted, i stoped for some gas and they busted me at the pump. no ticket though.

98 in a 55, going through Nevada... Officer said that at 100 MPH its an automatic trip the jail... Good thing he didn't clock me a few miles back, I must have slowed down... I was usually going about 115... Ever driven accross I-80 in Nevada... BORING, and its even worse at night... Oh and this wasn't in my X... Happened about 8-9 years ago...

i wont bore ya s with all the tickets i have had here but when driving through the states im going past the welcome to missisipi sign and the police are hiding behind it they pull me over we have a nice chat about driving around the states and they tell me to slow down in future .what you can get away with as a tourist

this is more funny my gf is thai and there if the police pull you over its a given they want money, she got pulled over here for doing a u turn over double white lines and she asked the cop. cant i just pay you? the cop replyed "no mam you have to send the payment to the office"

first ticket, had my liscense for about 4 mos, driving moms car home trying to make cerfue. clocked 53 in 35 and my buddy with me at the time had a warrant for trespassing/malisios destruction of property. he "lost" his id and gave them a fake name. wrote me for 5 over...$75 fine/2 pts

i also have 97 in 70 with wreckless driving on the highway, driving around incircles trying to burn off some bad gas in my contour...wrote it 5 over...$115 fine/no pts

75 in 40 through hines park in livinia, mi...county speed trap on my way to meet my lady for lunch...wrote me for 5 over, also in my contour...$100 fine/no pts

suspicious driving for driving around to my friends houses after school to see who was home..it just so happened that i was driving in a big circle...no ticket.

window tint, improper lighting (underbody neons on public road, didnt even make it half block) in my contour...dropped

going thru a blinking red at 3am driving a buddy home because he wrecked his truck in an area i wasnt familiar with...$120 fine/3 pts

didnt get caught, but in ohio i was racing a buddies 94 mustang v6 and he topped out at 120...my contour had some computer upgrades and needles out at 130..tach kept going, so i guess i was about 140...nearly scared the crap outta me.

needless to say, i have only been pulled over once in the ex for having green turnsignals...i had to remove them on the spot and it was the middle of jan...no ticket, but froze my butt off...i also realized that radar detectors dont help me because by the time it goes off, they already have me. i have 2 just sitting in the house because i speed less without them.

I was on my way from California to Texas with my girlfriend(she cant hear very well) when we get pulled over in Arizona. The cop comes up to my window and asks if i know why he pulled me over? My girlfriend asks "what did he say?" i told her he asked if I knew why he pulled me over, she says oh. The cop says "I pulled you over for speeding". My girfriend says "what did he say?" So I told her he said he pulled us over for speeding. She said oh. The cop says " I see from your licence that your from L.A., I use to live in L.A. I dated this one girl that was the worst sex I ever had in my life". My girlfriend said "what did he say?" So I told her he said he thinks he knows you!

I got pulled over 5 times withen my first 6 months of driving- most were BS because the cops around here are jagoffs with nothing else to do. The worst ticket I got was a 48 in a 25 while blowing stopsign. Once I was doing about 105 in a 55 and my buddy that was following me in his 99 dakota slammed on the brakes because his radar went crazy. I got off at the next exit and almost crapped my pants.
