Is my explorer 03 or 04 please help?

guys newbie here, my woman rolled here 2000 explorer we had for years, it was lifted, lights racks. ie... it was nice... but it got totalled. we picked up an 03 explorer, paperwork we have says 2003, the actuall title just got transfered between banks so i never seen it. when we input the VIN number into insurance programs or anything VIN related it says its an 04 model. build date on door sticker 07/03......

Is it 03 or 04? thanks

excited to get this one lifted and moded, its got IRS I see, which is new to me but ill learn, ill start searching past posts... thanks!

Is the MAF molded into the intake or is it a seperate piece?

That's one way to tell.

A 7/03 build date is a crap shoot, could go either way.

With that date, I would guess it's an '04, especially if the VIN indicates it is.

Search for RoadBully spacers and also body lifts in this section of the forum.

one piece means its an 04, 2 pieces means 03.

it should be a 04 with that production date. by the time its shipped off and at a dealership it would end of 03 so

the tenth digit on your VIN will tell you
