The primer and black has lasted for a long time. Im kinda sad to see it go. It was a good look i think but this green is gonna be just sweet. for 220 bucks im not out much. Thats all i have spent.
Its been fully sanded. fixed some areas but the big dents are not getting fixed. Its a trail truck so it will just make me mad when i dent the same areas again.
It is on its second day of sanding. It is pretty smooth. Its been washed several times and has been just sprayed off the last several times. It is not in the garage getting taped off. Im at work so dad is taping it off. it will be put on rims so we can actuall reach the roof area.

i like the ford rough riders paint scheme. maybe i'll use that one. i should be able to use this roller method by doing one color at a time right? i can't wait to see this lime green explorer.......

what all are you gonna do to prep the body? are you gonna carry the theme inside? i think black interior with a lime green cage would be cool.....

Tomm im not sure. As of now its been major sanding. Dry and wet. Its gonna get whiped down and then painted. Its staying inside so its not gonna be that hard to prep. Its gonna be all taped up tonight.
I want to carry it on into the inside of the truck. I have grey ranger seats and console in the front. Im gonna bed liner the floor. I might paint all the pannels and the dash black. With green accents. Gonna re do the headliner hear soon. Well as soon as i take it to them. I may have SERIOUS EXPLORATIONS put into the headliner in green letters. Oh now i really might do that. gonna play with the interior. For sure getting a cage when i get the money. I will have extra paint to paint the cage when im done with the body.

Im ready to get home tonight from work and see how much my dad taped off. I expect to have a long night tonight. I hope to have it painted by ten or so in the morning and ill have some pictures as soon as i can get back to my laptop.

Well, 91 posts, thousands of views and not one drop of paint applied yet- cmon already, I want to see results.

MG it was not taken in a bad way.
Its going green as soon as i get breakfast and get the rims off of it and sit it on blocks so we can reach the roof. Im not painting it. My dad is. Ill play with the paint gun on some spare doors or something lol

Its fully painted and unraped and outside baking in the sun. Pic to follow. SOON>>>>>LOL
We were having gun trouble about the whole time. The paint did look like it was dark in certian places but the cure time in the heat outside made most of it went away after thiry mins. The rest is still going away so its gonna look good.
