i have a few questions for you with the spray on bed liner:
1. how much?
2. how many cans?
3. is the texture hard like plastic, rubbery, rough like hercliner, etc.?
4. where did you buy it at?
I just want to know because i really want to do this now that i removed the rocker panel things but havent sucked up the courage to drop $80 on a can of herculiner. plus i dont like the texture of herculiner. its too rough and seems like it would be difficult to keep clean. you truck looks really good with the spray on. nice job.

1. About $7 a can.
2. Just one for both rockers.
3. It's not as rough as Herculiner by a long shot, just somewhat textured. I'll attach a closer pic of it.
4. Wal-Mart.

It's a pretty nice product. We'll have to see how well it holds up in the long run.

*Picture's coming in a bit. My program freaked out on me.

your truck is bad ass mang

My truck got a new look yesterday. I call it "Stealth". :D Cut front bumper, bedliner'd front and back bumpers, and painted grille. The only thing I have left to do is paint the accent stripe/molding on the side.

What it started out as:

First cut lines (rough):

Finished cutting (still rough lines):

DAMN! That looks BAD Josh. I like the front bumper. I think I might be stealing your idea later this week. :D

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm stealing your idea on Tuesday afternoon. :D Did you have to do anything with the back side of the bumper? (i.e. the supports)

Thanks bro. Go ahead, just make sure you tell people it's the "Josh Special" when they ask. :D

If you cut right along under the plastic where I did, you just have to cut though the support on the corner, between the 2 bolts and again on the front. It's not much cut though, and doesn't affect how the bumper sits.

:D Will do. So did you have to do anything with the supports in the back?

I edited my post after you edited yours. Too much editing. :D

that looks good

i like it what you did. i may have to do that to my rear end when i fab up a bumper back there.

i have an idea for your side molding... take it off. i took mine off, and trust me, it looks mucho better than having it on.

what you did to the bumper looks really nice, i might have to try that to mine, and some how get a winch in the middle

thanks for that awesome idea! haha

Thanks guys.

slammed - Yeah, muddin's the ****. I guess we're at opposite ends of the 2wd spectrum. :D

aric - I'm thinking of just taking it off. Not completely sure though. It's just glue holding it on right?

offroad - You're welcome, but like I said above, just call it the "Josh Special". Oh wait, that's your name too. Crap. :D Anyway, yeah a winch would be cool in the middle.

double sided adhesive foam stuff. its a b%^&*, but worth it when its all over. looks alot cleaner. and i took it off when i painted the rockers, so i covered up the paint transition.

i may steal that idea as well and go ahead and her'c the rockers while im at it. God damn rust devils.
