what kind of rubbing do you get with those 35s?
what is the backspacing on those wheels?
looks killer!

Awesome Rig! I love how the body/bumpers still look stock!

Just browsing again, so I thought I might as well register, (I just hope nobody reads the rig description)

BTW, I can't seem to find a little Wrangler icon to put in my messages. . . .?

Since Brother_of_Jefe keeps bringing this to the top i figured I'd update it again

Here's my truck with 35's on a Natural RTI ramp

DCP_0399.jpg

Heres one reason not to put 35's on with only 4.5" of lift. (I can't put my hand in any farther)

BTW John. . the Moderators may not like your signature being over 6 lines :D

John, brother of Jefe.... that is one ugly signature ;) ... Jefe has a sweet late model explorer....

Yeah,......I can't tell if that Jeep is supposed to be driving on a road of pebbles, or if that's the sound he makes as he's driving the Jeep. ;) :p

Looks awesome! I have your rig on the spider's web as my desktop now.

So how is it that you did not roll over in that pic? What is holding you up on the other side?

From watching the video countless times, I figure that nearly all of the weight was on the right rear sidewall/rim. Just after posing for that pic I attempted to pull further forward, and on video, you can see my left rear nearly leave the ground. Needless to say, I stopped and backed back down.

Front locker!

Woo-hoo! I can attest to that! (and my neighbors too.) The first "ka-chunks" could be heard up and down the driveway.

and LOVE that Atlas!

Let's see. . .35's, 4.88's, Atlas 3.8, front and rear no-slip lockers. . . . .it's UNSTOPPABLE!

I hope so :D

so what kind of locker did you get?

powertrax no-slip - special for the late-model-Explorer-Dana35-IFS-etc-etc-etc.

really only possible after he replaced the Ford "auto" 4WD with the Atlas

excellent! im getting into the game for a front locker. i was looking at the ez locker but after reading another article on teh powertrax it seems that is the way to go.

so do you like it? love it? does it live up to all the dreams of having a locked front?
