They are different, some say made by the same... but Motorcraft is much harder to find away from Ford.

Autolite is the manufacturer of its own plugs as well as the Motorcraft plugs.

just ordered the magnecores from that site listed above, horsepowerfreaks.... $89 and some change ground shipped

haha, now its time for plugs and then the shift solenoind and some atf... i need to do an oil change and some seafoam too

Magnecor Explorer KV85 8.5mm Spark Plug Wires
Photo may differ for each model

Magnecor's KV85 Competition (8.5mm) Ignition Cables feature Magnecor's exclusive 2.5mm high capacity Metallic Inductance EMI Suppressed conductor consisting of stainless steel wire precisely wound at 200 turns per inch over a ferrimagnetic core. The insulating jacket is made entirely of Magnecor's exclusive TC-1500-HS high strength aerospace grade silicone rubber, and its single layer construction will prolong the jacket's insulating ability by conducting extreme heat away from hot-spots that occur near over-the-limit heat sources.

The KV85 8.5mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 600 degrees F (320 degrees C) and up to 1,000 degrees F (540 degrees C) for short burst 3 minutes. Even if limits are exceeded, the silicone rubber will retain its insulating ability until wires are removed from engine.

one of these days i will get the demon coil pack that aldive is running, i saw them @ www.stuffforyourranger.com and figure, why not?.....

Sounds good, be sure to still be careful when removing the wires off of the plugs. That's when most are damaged because they have stuck on firmly.

not worried abotu the old plugs/wires those are going to the trash -- well maybe trail spares

I'm hinting at your next plug check etc. The best wires will still stick onto the plugs, yanking them off is not good.

oh yeah, i know about that, haha

It's just a good reminder, that's the kind of mistake that I make.

haha, yeah, i do stuff like that too... im too strong for my own good most of the time, usually results in snapped/rounded bolts and or bloody body parts

got an email from hp freaks, said it should ship in 2 weeks as the wires are a custom made to order part, and need to be made.... i hope they are red liek the picture, lol then i can have some underhood bling bling ;)

They do only come in red, I would prefer a dark color for subtlety for mine, but they look good.

sweet, haha, ill like the color then, will bring some likfe to the 210k mile underhood dust color

I just washed under the hood of mine for the first time last month. The damn marine circuit breaker failed and it took me two days to see the coolant hit 270. I think I'll avoid washing the fragile added electrical switches in the future.

wash under the hood... haha, the only reason i wash the exterior of the car is we have a nazi apt complex and they will tow your car if it isnt pretty!

ok, so... any recommendations on plugs? im not rich, but i wont skimp.

i need double platinums and i will not run bosch

i will have to look through it some more then, for at least a page, people are just talking about how they should trade in their wives for a newer model because the wife wont let them lift their truck... that thread should be edited so it is jsut the facts, or at least be kept on topic
