Jon And Sheri's Vitamin D Wagon

It is all rolled up in a neat little package. I will get it back to ya.

I'm in no hurry to need it back, you can just bring it to SMORR:D.

Hey Jon. The truck looks great. As Sam likes to say, "keep up the good work".

nice rig R U taking it to SMORR?

Well, the 410 gearing in this isn't the best.

Ellesar65 connected me to a guy who wants EB axles for his wife's jeep build, and has full width d44 high pinion locked with a powertrax and 456's, and, a spooled 9" with 456's for trade. I would of course replace the spool with an auto locker.

I would also need to get some offset wheels to bring the tires back in, however he is also including the longer radius arms and radius arm mount-which will help fix the slider mounting issue also.

I think I am going to look very hard at this option.

I agree with froader. I loved my 5.13, but I towed mine. 4.88 would probably be your ticket if you plan on keeping the 35's.

Let me get this right. You WAXED an OFF ROAD vehicle? :p:

I think he plans on towing this rig as well so the 5.13's would probably work out good.

On the last page you have your steering linkage set out. What size heim spacer did you use for the joint in the pic?

ah
that is a "special special" 7/8" bore so a 3/4" high misalignment shim can be used allowing a 3/4" bolt .

edit
no that one is a 3/4" bore and only a standard mis-alignment shim needed for trac bar angle.

Only one spacer? I got a kit a while ago and it did not come with anything.

I'll help ya in the morning!!

Jon it looks great.

Oh and ill put in a word for 4.88 even with my 37 its not to bad.

Thursday My son, a friend and I went to the pick and pull with this truck. It was a nice warm sunny day.

We were cruising down a county road, when the friend in the back seat yells

" I dub thee, vitamin D"

So, Vitamin D it is. This truck has a name.

I thought you named this "For Sale"? :p:

Did the steering and tracbar work out okay?

I haven't gotten that far yet. I just got the tubes back and to be honest another project squeezed in between--
