I'm looking to replace the regular bulbs with LED's. I own a 2008 Explorer XLT

I believe it's been done before but how would I go about removing the tail lights in order to actually remove and replace the bulb? Is there anything else I should know?

Thanks.

Open tail gate remove the two black hexscrews then pull the light out. There are pins that align and hold the taillight in and can make it feel like you may break something I will see if I can get pictures tomorrow. Other than that very easy. Oh and FYI I put in led reverse lights 6000k in color and the normal bulbs I think work better. It could just be the really cheap led bulbs I put in but thought I would let you know.

I wired some cheap LED strips to the reverse light and it helps a whole lot more than just the bulbs.

They were super cheap. I think I paid $12 shipped for 4 of them on ebay.
