Just read through 44 pages of AWESOME!

Jon, you're doing some really slick stuff, its got me wanting to PC everything...

Can you post a pic of your shop and equipment. I saw your list of tools and such, but I'd really like to see a pic of where the magic happens.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Is it possible to PC PVC? I figure it isn't due to the higher temperatures, but thought I would ask.

What was that about, the colors?

I just had to show this off before I coated it.

My neighbor Joe made this in his break time during work. It is sized for a Jeep, but he will be making a 2nd gen explorer one using my truck for fitment.

The plate welds were ground flat and smoothed, then sandblasted. I am going over it again as I still find a few little edges. All the other welds were just blasted. TIG welding sure is clean.

This is getting a coat of wrinkle black, which will make it look killer good

He is a great welder, tell him I appreciate that and hope to find someone like that here.

Nice, and just think of how much rust is prevented with powder coating. If I was rich I'd pay someone to strip my truck and take it to be coated underneath. I'm smelling ATF on my hands, I'm outside.

Why only underneath? I would get the entire thing powdercoated, the quality of the finish is there it would look as good as paint and you would be much easier to take care of.
