Let's see, what can I powdercoat today?

Jon really out did himself this time. I'm going to go ahead and add a discalimer that Jon hates powdercoating calipers and will not do it for safety reasons, so don't bother asking.

Very nice work. I need to get some things together and send to Jon. Soon, I'm enjoying the Spring weather but the yard is taking off.

Wow, those look way too cool to go on your rig Techie. :p:

Awesome job as always Turdle!

And the pictures don't even begin to do them justice, the blue is really hard to capture.

Blue??? I thought they were black!!! Can't wait to see them in person!

Yeah I need to try and take some more pictures, they are lazer blueberry and about as perfect as it's going to get to matching the deep wedgewood blue, the powdercoat just doesn't shift to the purplish color.

This was a very old rusty chair which belonged to Sheri's mother. Since Sheri is away I thought I would surprise her with it. I used antique gold vein for a base coat, for the clear protection I used copper transparent. It will be a nice plant stand for the back porch area

That'd have pride of place at the head of the dining table at my joint! Awesome.

Jon, that chair looks amazing. Quick question, can plastic be powder coated?

Thanks, Rondo

Thanks.

Plastic as a rule will not hold it's shape well at 400F

OK, thanks. I'm not familiar with powdercoating, but know I know it involves heat. I guess it's the rattle can then.

Jon, I'm going to send you the pieces of my Lincoln mirrors soon. The hail cracked one of the new ones I put on, so I should get the others pair done.

The finish from the flat is awesome mate. I sort of prefer it to the gloss, choice as! Any reason you haven't used the flat before?

Well, Gregg because it is tough to get a good finish. I will use it more often now though. .

I wanted to show you guys the gloss of this powder right out of the gun. No buffing, wax or clear. in fact it has already picked up dust. I set a bottle of Jose Cuervo Platina out so you could see the reflection.

Damn it man, you've got me thinking about a shaker again. Fan bloody tastic.

If I was closer I'd have my Ranchero bumpers there to make them gloss black. Other trim too, I'd find things to do.

I really like the way the chair turned out. How does Sheri like it?
