Somebody please............

Hello Guys

Somebody please reply to my question because I need to get alignment checked after the torsion bar twist. Is there anybody who has 32" tires running without any problem with torsion twist, could you please measure the height from ground to wheel well, so that I can find out if I will be ok with 34" height (with stock tires on) and then I can go ahead and get the alignment done if needed.

Please help..............

everything sounds fine to me......there are a few guys running 32"s with the tt..you may have to trim some plastic on the wheel wells, but not much.......good luck

what about 2002 and up? is there anything out there yet?

Anything out there for what? suspension/bl ???

Yup 2 or 3" bl kit, there actually made for the ford ranger due to the fact that they have the same frame as the xploder. Theres no bl that is explorer specific, but the ranger bl kits from performance accessories work just fine on the x ;)

tires

what about tire size I am going soon to buy 31's Bf Goodrich All Terrain KO'S
and they should fit fine i hope ; and if they rub they rub no big deal..

can someone update that chart with 2002 to 2004 Explorer listed??

Lift and Tire sizes!

I will be putting a 6" susp and a 3" body lift on my 1992. I have 17 inch wheels on it now so how big of a tire will run on it then? Thank you for the info!

Your stock rims are probably 15x7 with 4.5" of backspacing. 32x11.50s will work, larger and I'd go with wider rims.

How does someone figure out the backspacing of a paticular rim?

Thanks for the info, I'm doing a 3" bl this weekend. I guess I will pick up some 33s

32x12.5 on 15x10's

I keep seeing everything about a 15x8 rim with 32's, but will the 32x12.5 with a 15x10 rim work with a 3"bl, TT/ext. shackle and AAL set up? I have no problem doing a little plastic trimming. I'm just not so crazy about metal trimming.

fitting

I have 20s but want some offroad tires, can you tell me lifts i need. And what size tire to get.

nothing will fit on 20's without a big lift, you may be able to squeeze P305/50R20 toyo a/t open countries with a TT/shackles but they are wicked wide, so there will probably be a little rubbing, if you get a 3" body lift with the tt/shackles there are a bunch of tires that are right around the 33" mark for 20's, maybe a P275/60R20 with a 2" body lift since the tire is only 11" wide

how would a Superlift 5.5in lift go with 33x12.5r15s on 15x10s? will this combo fit nicely?

that should do just fine

3rd Gen Data

265/75R16 BFG's with O.D. of 31.8 will fit stock 3rd Gens.

265/70R17 BFG's with O.D. of 31.8 will fit stock 3rd Gens.

Depending on the vehicle, you may need to plastic zip tie the rubber fender liners on the front against the nearest metal at the lower rear of the wheel well. This ads around 1.5 inches clearance and doesn't require cutting.

Hey, the 3rd gens are coming....Rancho is going to release a coil-over lift in May/June 2005 and KW still has a lift in the works.

Note on my first gen stock suspension. I just put on 15X8 rims with 3.75 back spacing & 31x10.5x15 BFG AT's & I rub the inner fender liner on extream left & right turns.

super swampers

HI all, I have a stock suspension 92 xlt and I actually want to put super swamper thornbird 30x11.50 r15 tires on. Do you think this is a good idea, and will this fit without any trimming? I know that you say the 30x10.50's would work but im worried if these would give me problems? Any suggestions?
