Just came across this thread, and when I saw this pic I thought, that picture looks familiar! It was purchased by a friend to part out. (for like $3500) I have a few bits and pieces of it in my 87 Mustang. He still has the hood (pieces) and shaker for sale. He was going to custom make a hood for his Grabber Blue Thunderbird.

Sad to see all the damaged Machs.

Wow, what a horrible thread. lol

I've always loved Mustangs, and I miss mine dearly. My first car was a '95 Mustang, and that poor thing was wrecked so many times we lost count (it was my older brother's before he passed it on to me). I finally put it out of its misery when I ran a red-light and t-boned a local police car (lonnggggg story). The resulting insurance money allowed me to buy my current Explorer, a 1997 with 60k miles. It actually worked out, because the mustang had well over 150k miles, but the rebuilt motor had around 50k. So I actually upgraded to a better car with less original miles and two years newer.
I plan on buying a new Mustang, this time GT, when I graduate from college.

I will attempt to attach some pictures, even though they don't technically follow the thread:

Note how badly the frame is bent.

Sad, Sad stories here. My buddy drove one of those blue mach 1's, till he was rear-ended by some drunk in a pickup. The trunk and backseat became one with the bumper, buddy was fine but Mach was totalled. Was a beautiful car.

Driver and passenger walked away with minor bruising. These cars are TOUGH!!

Quote from owner
Highway 431 (Huntsville, AL) running about 60......all of a sudden the rear end cut loose.......hit a sign, then a tree and rock head on at the same time which flipped the car.

Thank goodness for the airbags & seat belts. We only got some bruises & a few cuts.

well you can kinda save that one. BTW, depressing thread you created jeff lol. i am betting the M!R takes off their hats and bows their heads every time they loose one.
