Really? Even returning to the spot of the wedding? hahaha or is that like for the 10 year anniverssary?
Jamie, probably like for the 10yr anniversary … one thing about getting married is that all of your hobbies all of a sudden cost twice as much

She’s been with me on several fourwheeling trips now and I owe her a cruise before the next 4x4 trip

which is hard to budget for when unemployed, lol.
BBQ Hotdogs, Moab has about a hundred trails suitable for anything from 2wd to easy 4wd to insane 4x4 rockcrawling. At first we had lots of stockers on our runs but I noticed last year that the rigs get more built as the years go by; everyone that comes gets bit by the bug and wants to build up to do harder trails the next year. Moab is addicting. A couple of years back we tried to get all of the streeters to come and ride with us but none showed up. I’d still like to see the street/lowered Explorers show up and join us just to meet everyone on the site and have a large group for ridealongs on the trail.

Gerald, are/would you be interested in blessing the event with your excellent organizational skills again this year?

So should we set the date for June 3-5? According to MOAB.net there isn't any major event happening that weekend so the trails should be relatively clear.
Sounds like you’re already doing a great job Mike, LOL. I was going to check the Moab calendar but you’re already ahead of me
We have always avoided busy weekends but I had thought about checking out Memorial Day and how early we would have to get places to stay to go there that weekend; that way we would have a 3 day weekend for the event, but I’m sure that would be hard to pull off. One year we scheduled later on because many college students asked for it so they could come. So we did - the weather was over 100 degrees every day and cooked our entire group the whole weekend - and only one college student came to the event

so it will take somewhat of a salesjob to convince us to do that again.
Anytime after Memorial Day is a gamble but the weekend right after it works for me too. If you want me to I’ll post a poll to see how that weekend works out,
but all you college guys on this thread had better come this time if we wait until then. Otherwise most of us would probably prefer coming earlier in May or the last weekend in April (April 30th is Ray Lobato's and my birthday and we had a Moab birthday party during that run).
As far as coordinating the event, you did a great job before too, but I’ll be happy to this time and keep track of who’s coming and stuff. The only real issue is our annual group dinner and we are starting to run out of options. The Branding Iron is really the only place to do it; otherwise the best idea might be to have a potluck BBQ at one of the sites at the Canyonlands Campground. What do you think?
