Well, things are looking up on the brighter side. If things keep going the way they are, the whole family is coming down with me, which means i am coming! hope to see you all down there. So... any other "modified" rigs gonna be down there?

Looks like I'm out. One of the B*TCHES at work scheduled the end of the year field trip for Monday the 6th so I have to be at work. Why the hell did I tell her what days I wasn't going to be there? I have 500 miles on the conversion to date, all is fantastic so far. I wont be the guy who gets there and breaks down 47 times again so this suckers going to be tested before I make that drive. Right now I am working to get the PCM to talk to the scanner, I believe I know what code is being stored, if so its an easy fix, just hope for no more then that.....

Char sorry you can't make it. I say keep trying, or Moab makes an excellent field trip alternative

On the my PSD, a normal OBD-II scanner can only do one thing - clear the CEL/SES light.

To do anymore, I have to pop $450 for software and cable adapters.

I still need to make my reservations at the campgrounds - been so busy doing everything else, I keep forgetting to do it.

this is the same boat I am in, my buddy Dave has a Snap on Scanner and I just stopped by his work, but guess what, I forgot the 97 Explorer 5.0L VIN so we couldnt talk to it.

I want a OBD-II interface for the laptop, but apparently the 97 explorer only supports basic functions, no shift points, gear calculator, etc...time to look into running a 2000 Explorer PCM with PATS disabled

I finally got the power steering back together - new PS pump, doubled the size of the reservoir, cleaned up the box, replaced a bad o-ring seal (finally, after a year of chasing seals and o-rings, no more leaks!)

Little over a week togo! woo hoo!

I am with Jaime on this. I am just now picking up steel for my rear bumper and sliders today. And I STILL Haven't got my freakin c4 in yet!! :fire: and I don't have any tube doors yet. Does anyone know if CoryL is still alive?

Same here, right now there is no pig in the front dif(getting rewelded) i have to change the rear gears to 4.56. Roll cage still need ALOT of work. Need to wire in radio/cb and lights and run the lines for the tranny cooler. Add all of that to taking finals this week and graduating on friday. How exciting! :fire:
