well, I got alot done this weekend
I installed extended brake lines, flushed the radiator, flushed the transmission, added 2 transmission coolers, changed all kinds of oils and lubricants, and cut more body panelling away
still lots to do though... I won't get the new transmission in, or tube doors, but sliders will be on, and depending on when my locker gets here, hopefully I'll get that in too.
The tracking # says it should get here on Wednesday. If indeed it gets here then, I'll be locked and loaded.
I am all packed up and ready to go. We will be heading out at 8 am and stopping somewhere arround the Idaho/Utah border for the night and then hit Moab between noon and whenever on Thursday.
I won't make this one... again! The explorer's not ready. I have to work on the front end, change the bearings and other stuff. The cage (part of it) will be put in this weekend when I come back from Florida. Have fun out there!
well, I am done with all I'm going to be able to finish before leaving. No sliders unfortunately, no new transmission, but hey, I got my locker installed!!!
I'm gonna pack everything up tomarrow and leave at noon.
See yall in a couple days.
I just want to be sure everyone knows the plan for meeting in the mornings. Morning meetings are at City Market in downtown Moab. We'll be heading out to the trails at 9am, so be there gassed up, and grab any food you need. Be ready to hit the trails at 9am...
Gerald, what time did you make dinner reservations for on Saturday night??
Well, I am out. After wheeling last weekend on some of the hardest trails imaginable my rig is just not feeling up to the Moab trip. I hope you guys have fun and see you next year.
