What are you doing :bdrunk: at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on a Thursday? 11 days and a wake up til departure:frustrate

So Phil, I am thinking I'll leave my house about Noon. I'll give you a call when I hit the road and then another when I hit the 405. What exit off the 90 did you say was a good meet spot? I could call again when I am say, two miles out from that. Most likely we'll have to stop in the Kennewick area for Diesel, and I am sure I'll have to pee a few times too, lol.

I'm not :bdrunk: but I want to :chug:

SR-18 interchange.

If you call when you hit 405 that'll be just right. Hit the CB when you;re getting close to the interchange and I'll jump on so you don't have to exit.

Of course we can go over this on Saturday

So it was proposed at the last g2g that we try to do a trail on Thursday. With our current travel plans, we're getting into Moab around 12-1 or so. There are a couple of choices. We can keep our current travel plans and the last leg is 150 miles, so we can just get up early, and push straight through and be there by 10 am. That gives us plenty of time to unload, do an easy trail, and then come back and set up camp.

Option 2 is to leave earlier on Tuesday, and drive about half way, and then drive the second half the next day and pull in to Moab Wednesday night. This option would require adding a day to our campground reservations. After talking to Ken, he mentioned that JR had something he needed to take care of Tuesday morning prior to leaving, so it looks like our original travel plans with an accelerated early morning start on Thursday would be the best.

Thoughts, concerns, discussions???

I wont be able to get on the road Tuesday till about 1PM, But I can switch driving duties with John Keech who is coming with me and we can drive later Tuesday Night.
I got the camper loaded last night:D

Perfect time for a sinus infection I might add:(

Since we "shouldn't" coordinate trail options (at the risk of being considered organized,) I'll recon a trail I'll call "Heaven Nile Shim" on Tuesday or Wednesday and lead the NW contingent Thursday afternoon. . . That way you guys can pull in, get settled, off-load and still do the run and be back in time for dinner and beers at the Moab Brewery . . . :chug:

Well this being a group of 5 and and a seperate thread than the main one, and an organized run is considered 25 or more, we should be okay. But I think we'll stick to the current plan and meets for now since JR has prior obligations and we'll be just fine. Once on the road and all together we can play it by ear based on how everyone feels about motoring on or whatever.

CB channel 20 to hit the prime swr. See ya at the first stop, and you a little earlier Phil.

That all sounds good to me.

BTW, I re-aligned the bumper, cut off the hooks and put the stock valance back on, cut to cover frame horn to frame horn.

Looks pretty good. The new bumper lights are still giggly though. I haven't figured out a good solution for them yet.

I'll be loading stuff all week.

When we are thinking about trails and start/finish times, please remember, I'll have Lucy but not Travis, so I won't have a 'boy' to play with the dog.

Does Lucy have a Nintendo?

I am not sure what is going to drag more, the 5 days at work or Sat-Mon!

Don't know, never had a caravan this big. It's only been me and Ken Before so we just used cell phones and passing techniques when I had to pee or needed gas or he had to ****. If you have the time, it might make the drive a little nicer since all but you are driving alone. I've made the drive alone before BORING!!!!
