WENT TO THE BEACH!!!!!!!! Finally got onto the beach yesterday. It was interesting. At first everything was going well. although it was cold and windy at first. BUT! a JEEP got stuck, naturally i decided to go help. Ended up going strait into a hole on the sand. If i had my phone you would seen it. Talk about flexing lol. Sand shooting everywhere while a fellow explorer looked on in my failure. I was pulled out by a nissan. Everyone was nice and all. After that it warmed up and got me some sunburn. Cant wait to go again!

Glad to see you finally made it out! Smith Point is a blast. Even better in the evening once it empties out and you get a little fire going. Hopefully I get the BII together before the end of the summer and meet up with ya!

Yea im definitely going to go at night. Especially with the girlfriend lol. And i didnt know I could have a fire until i saw all the burnt logs on the beach lol. Now that i know i can i deff will have a fire. Its in my blood lol. Being an eagle scout and all. And a meet with ya would be pretty cool. Il be going a lot in a couple weeks!!!

Yea I know right lol. I am dying for a fishing kyack to get. My gfs dad has one fully loaded fish finder and everything. I got the rack so I can bring fishing rods and stay on my local beaches late at night.

Yea. Hey what type of tires you running on you explorer? I'm looking to get 33inch tires for a 15inch rim

35" BFG KM2s. I've got about 1500 miles on them and theres almost no wear an I've been hitting the trails pretty hard.

Oh ok. I was lookin at the 33s of the BFG's. So they have held up pretty well for ya huh?

Yeah I love em. They clean out really well in dirt and mud. They handle well on dry an wet pavement and give me a lot of grip on rocks. A couple others have them too. A really good 33 is the Goodyear dura trac. Tons of ppl like them

I've looked at those as well. And the price for those i like. They seem like a nice tire. And I will deff look into them!

Ask around on the sport trace forum. I can think of 4 guys that have had dura traces for a while. They're great if you do a lotta road driving. Unfortunately they don't come in 35s

Truee. I do commute a lot and it would be nice for the price. I eventually wanna go up to 35's. But this would be a good start

I kind of went against my own advice since I do a lot of highway driving but I really wanted an aggressive tire. The BFG ATs are another option. I know they come in the same size I have 35x12.5

I was looking at the all terrains. Not too sure yet on which I want since Il be driving on the beach a lot. BUTTTTT Hopefully soon I should be installing a new stereo system. My 6change cd player broke. The stereo is a pioneer for $90.00. Then I'm going to get 4 new subs to replace my speakers. Also broken(work when they want to) those should be in the neighborhood of $50-$100 a piece.

Speakers are on my list too. My door ones are starting to crap out and throw static once in a while.

Haha x3 on the speakers. Mine are getting static now too. I'm not really big into subs, but I'm anxious to see what happens and how it goes with the tires!
