3rd gen....brush guard.

I may do a winch bumper someday. Right now though, not enough income to do that.

Ditched the duals on my Ex, now it sounds like that green wrangler (had a magnaflow too) on page one. I'll get pics up. Not sure if I'm digging it too much.

Yeah I took a pretty good hit on fuel economy with my 265's and stock 3.55 gears. Hell it felt sluggish going up hills even on stock tires. Not anymore

I'll report back in a few weeks with what I'm getting with 265's and 4.10 gears one I've had a chance to drive it more.

The front crankshaft oil seal blew. Now I got a truck that leaks oil badly.

Yeah that sucks. Don't think it's too tough of a fix though.

So I dont think this is normal. The harmonic balancer seems to have a small crack.

I'll post some pictures shortly.

Some of the 3rd Gens are known to have had harmonic balancer issues. I have my original stock one and could send it to you but it will be a few weeks before I get back home.

Well knowing my engine, its the one that has the issue. The oil filter adapter wasnt supposed to be one that was with the issue but somehow it had that issue.

I may just want to invest in a 4.6L one of these days..

And I would appreciate that if it turns out to be cracked. I cant tell for sure.

Couldn't hurt to replace it...you've got to take it off anyway to change out the seal. It's yours if you want it for the cost of shipping.

Keep in mind I had an oil change done 2 weeks ago and I've lost at least 1 quart.

As you can see oil is everywhere.

The only crack I can see is the plastic oil slinger. Is there another crack in the balancer itself?

Well Im not sure. Thats why I said I think there might be. Im really uncertain.
Either way I might have them replace the balancer. Just a few things with the engine makes me think its an issue with the balancer.
