Nate's 2005 Explorer XLT 4X4

those stockers look CLEAN! some wheel spacers and aggressive tires will really set those off. how much for the set of 4?

And I decided I didnt like the debadged sides. So I went to the Nissan dealership this time ;)

....i don't get it.... lol

and lynchy are you considering 305s? cause with my lift setup, 285s rub like crazy even with the slightest flex

I think the 305 75 16 is the same diameter as the 285 70 17, just a 1/2" wider each side. Cheer's for the head's up tho' mate, I may have to break out the grinder and dremel:D But I'm hoping the offset of the new 16's will help me out. If not.....then power up time:D:thumbsup:

These showed up today :)

Sorry I missed this part of the post. Ive been on my blackberry looking at the EF and its hard to read with the blue print and blue background.

They're $200 total.

Allaa;
I just found my recipt for the emblems. The part number is: 80894-EA500
It is for a 2010 Nissan Xterra Pro 4X. They cost me about $60 USD

Nate, that's real cheap. I'd have eb rims on my truck for sure if I could've found that kind of deal, instead I tried my best to get aftermarkets that somewhat resemble them lol.

And they even come with those junk mismatched tires.

People here in Utah seem to sell everything cheap. Like I could pick up a brush guard and tail light guards for my 98 (in good shape) for only $75.00. I've thought about picking some explorer items up to sell on the EF because theres so much cheap good shape stuff.

Well guys and gals, I'm wrapping it all up. The 17" wheels, skid plates, safari rack with lights and then I am done. I'll just be doing regular maintenance on it from then on. I have a new project that I want to start in the fall or winter.
I've had a great run modding up the 3rd gen and may still throw a few things on it, but its time to start on something new...well its not really new... :p:

Here it is:

Needs new bumpers, wheels, tires, some rust removal, headlights, tail lights, and a paint job.
I have a love for 2nd gens. They look the best out of every gen. Nice clean look stock.

That's a nice Ex, Nate. Good choice! What year? OHV or SOHC?

Hey Nate, did you do some kind of writeup on the skid plate install? Or did you have the dealership do it?
I havent gotten around to installing it. Been busy with college starting up again.

I guess I'll just put a bunch of info on it:

Its a 1998 with the 4.0L OHV. 183,000 miles. The passenger side has been scratched up really bad, and the paint needs refinishing. Its been rear-ended and needs a new rear bumper. A 1 owner X susprisingly. :D The reason I got it was the one owner. Other Explorers in that range were nicer but had 3 and 4 owners.

This one has been sitting in my driveway for several months. Just finally getting around to fixing it.

Just for you Joe; I pulled the drivers seat, as it was broken and discovered this thing has probaby not been cleaned since it left the dealership in 1999. One of the most disgusting Explorer interiors I have came across.

Are you going to pull the carpets?

I probably will next spring or summer.

No, you will pull them now.

You can, and you will.

:D

:D

I'll send the 2nd gen out your way with a money order. :shifty_ey
I would this year, but I've been really busy lately with college starting up. Thats why I am waiting until spring/summer next year.

Besides, I think I want the dirt to freeze on the carpet for another year :D

Money Order, Postal Money Order or PayPal are all fine... :D

Awesome.

So on a different subject do you know how to switch out a lock switch on a 2nd gen?
The drivers side switch only works on the unlock side.

Probably not the lock, as I had that issue with Snowball. Ended up being wiring. But if you pull the panel, you can just remove the window/lock switch pod and the lock button from below.
