So driving on I-90 last night about a mile before Whitewood, and hit a deer doing about 70-75MPH. Pulled over in Whitewood to inspect it. Grille is broken, passenger headlight is busted out, only the driving light, the marker light and turn signal is still there. The front air damn is gone and the passenger side fog light is pretty useless now. The only real BODY damage is the bumper was tweaked. There is no gap between the bumper and the fender, but on the driver side there is a big gap.
How hard would it be to replace both headlights with new ones (maybe some HID or projectors?) and maybe get a billet grille.
BTW, this is a 98, 5.0, 4WD, Eddie Bauer edition.
I saved the Ford oval too. It was falling off so I just popped it out and set it in the cup holder.
Thanks,
Sawyer
PS: If there are any local guys who wanna come help me out, I would much appreciate it. My step-dad will not accept the fact that this will be and easy fix and we wont have to go to a body shop.
