Bump

Alex, do you know of anyone who could use a Kenne Bell 2400 blower, used? One of our friends found one, and then a 2600, which he wants for his later big engine.

Hmmm.. Is it just the blower (rotor and case)? A buddy is looking for a full kit for his 2v PI Mustang.

If its just the blower he may possibly be interested if it works for his car....

Yes I believe so, I think that it came from eBay. My 2200 should be near its limit on my planned 331, 5200rpm, and 15psi of boost. I don't see really needing more than that myself.

Sounds like a plan. Can't wait to see your setup. How much does he want for the blower?

I'll ask him, he offered it to me to start with.

Hey!!!!
I have data to prove, without a shadow of a doubt, my Mountaineer can go 30 mph

eat that:p:

No way!!!! Must see it to believe it. Video?

Any explorers seen the track lately?

My X has been sleeping for a while. I pulled the motor out and did some maintenance. Threw it back in onto the motor mounts, and been sitting for about 5 months.

Any new times anyone??

I'm ready for the track. Just got to get the traction taken care of. As soon as the boost kicks in for me, it's spin city until I learn the position to keep the throttle, and when to open it up all the way. Last night, I lost it at around 35 MPH so I still haven't learned my set-up.

Psst, bigger tires or more axles.

I ran at the track yesterday and got an 11.083 on a 1/8 mile at 63.382 mph
Reaction: 0.378
I1: 2.211
I2: 6.237

Not too bad for the ol’ girl ^_^

Nice. Good job. Thanks for the info! I'll get you up on the podium.

Come on guys she's lacking two things we have and she still managed to get to the track ;)

Alex, how have you and your truck been? I should have my 347 next week, maybe running a week or two later.

FYI, I did make another base line run with my VC2000 back in April. I did better than I expected with the big 18" tires. My stock Mountaineer ran a 17.16 seconds at 82.2mph, the 1/8 was 11.18 at 66.7mph. Not very special I know, and the 60ft. was 2.83 seconds. I have plenty of room to improve. Night,

Hey Don,

My truck has been resting. I will hopefully start to work on it again later this month. But all is well. Bet you can't wait to drop that new motor in!
