Your going to need 100mph tailwinds to hit 14's:D

If you could get your Mounty to go any faster I could draft you:) Tomorrow looks like it's supposed to be nice. Rain tonight and friday, but clear skies on thursday:D

Well I did a little better tonight
r/t 2.48
60' 2.32
330' 6.498
1/8 9.948
MPH 71.25
1000 12.959
1/4 15.517
MPH 88.04

Now its time to install a cam/springs and a 3600 stall; then shift at 6000rpm :)

Yeah, I'm going to have to do something, I can't really push it any farther with bolt on's. Next on the list is a true 2wd transmission though.

edit: when are we going to see some track times from you?

Soon- I am in the process of installing an A/W intercooler, a larger turbo, and headers. No track times, but it consistently beat my friends 12.8 second Lightning on the street :D I blew out the passengers side manifold gasket and havent driven it much since.

Cool, it would be nice to see the sports knocked down a rung. I need to replace a header gasket too:( Just a slight leak, but it's there none the less.

You haven't seen anything yet. Wait till I rev this baby up off the line.

No really, a decent set of tires, meth injection and a couple more runs down the track (not to mention cooler evening weather, lower humitiy and higher barometer pressure) and you'll see another 12 second run with a sport.

I wish you luck limited02 - You're going to need it.

You still running 7lbs of boost, or did you end up going to 9lbs?

I upped it to 11lbs. My MAF is absolutely maxed out though. I will probably drop it to 8-9lbs with the larger turbo and probably make more power.

I am preparing for it as we speak:) I am going to need more than luck though, I'm going to need a MIRACLE!!!!! :D How about some pics of the those wheels and tires?

Well tonight really sucked:( I took out the 2nd row and front passenger seat out(156lbs), have lighter wheels and tires(6lbs each), but I ran SLOWWWW!!!! I ran a best of 15.42 and a worst of 15.76. I don't know what happened. I was really hoping to hit low, low 15's but to no avail:( Still had about a 10-15mph headwind:mad: Techieman33 will be on here when he gets a chance to post a video his bro took of us running. He had an even worse night than I did! Tonight wasn't meant to be but all in all, I had fun. Saw some cool cars haul ass. So Jakee, spend that money on something for your sport:) Enjoy the pics below;)

DA was probably hurting your times if it was anything like the current conditions there. I'm guessing this is the track you were at.

Current weather information for Heartland Park Topeka in Topeka, Ks

temperature = 68 deg f
barometer = 29.89 Hg
relative humidity = 87 %

uncorrected barometer = 27.88 Hg
dew point = 64 deg f (64.07)
saturation pressure = 0.690462 Hg
vapor pressure = 0.600702 Hg
grains = 95.854954
air density(without water vapor) = 91.6646
air density (WITH water vapor) = 89.8015
density altitude = 3636.6606 ft

That's the track. WTH does DA mean? And the temps were in the mid 70's when we ran. Got to around 68 degrees after 8pm when we were letting them cool for a half hour and that's when I ran my best time that tied my personal best.

Also, I pulled out the 4x4 fuse to do a burnout and run because that's how I achieved my best run last time I raced. I get to the burnout box, hold the brakes and stab the gas. It does nothing but go forward. The staging guys laughed at me:( Then when Tech and I left, there was a dusty patch when we were turning and he did a very nice side drift. I was like, my turn:) Hit the gas and I was gone:( Cruising on the highway thinking, these new tires really hook. Hit the 4x4 button and it the 4x4 light comes on. I pulled the WRONG fuse!!!!

I am going to make a burnout vid later today and post it up. I suggest everyone else do the same:) Smoke tires not drugs!!!!

A high DA (Density Altitude) will have less oxygen in the air and produce a lower horsepower.

Your track is at roughly 1000 ft elevation. The DA showed over 3600 ft. above sea level. This is like you running your truck as if the track elevation was 3600 ft.

There is a correction for 1/4 mile times based on elevation. It's not exact by any means, but it gets you an idea of what you should run with good air.

http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-altitude-calculator.php

The two tracks I run at in NJ are 257 ft and 178 ft. elevation. The third track, Atco raceway in NJ, is only at 33 ft above sea level. Most people in my area have their best times at that track because of it.

Well after doing the formula based on when I ran my best time(8:42pm) it says the DA was 1746 and a stock/mild NA combo should run a 15.117 @88.655mph. Take away the headwind and maybe, just maybe, it'll touch 14.99's?

Here is my burnout video as promised. I don't have editing software to make myself dissappear, so here I am:) It was very windy out so may be best to turn off your speakers. Not the greatest, but it's something:) Someone think they can beat it?

^Yeah well you suck:) Can you do it with the mud tires? More videos guys!!!

Well here's some video proof of my horrible performance last night:(

Limited02's new Jeep srt/8 sucked too though. Yeah I said Jeep, just listed to the announcer.

And here is the other pass my brother recorded, on a bright note putting the factory traction bars back on helped my burnout a lot. The rear end was kicking out from under me nearly as bad. I'll post a vid of that from a couple of weeks ago below the one from last night.

and here's a real srt/8 running a couple weeks ago

Nice :) drool......jdfhlskahdsnluhsdhbsindfgsn; , is that just because it is more efficient way of moving that much air? What does efficiency in a turbo fully entail? Lower charge temps?
