My explorer one morning would not start. It was in park and the starter cranked and I could smell gas but it would not start. Put it in neutral and it started up. If it was the neutral safety switch the starter would not work, but in park the starter would turn but wouldn't turn flywheel (at least not fast enough to start). Once it did start in neutral a noise like air pressure released happened. Shut it off and it now starts in park now but has some kind of air pressure releasing sound upon startups. Any ideas would be appreciated.
