The pleasure is all mine. I enjoy the opportunity to inspire Sport Trac owners to greatness.

Anxiously awaiting the news.

Keep up the good work. Godspeed TxPlates!! :salute:

Shut your pie hole....:-p

The AWD case will be installed at the time of the swap but I am working on locating a 4406e from a f-150. so we can retain the elec shift with out control trac. The plan is to remove the existing 4.0 Sohc and prep the truck on nov 26th and have all the PATS modules swapped over the first day. the second day Nov 27th to install the 5.0 and the Transmission, and start her up.

Be aware I am doing a lot of pre-work getting this driveline ready to go in the Trac so I can make it a weekend install. :D

Nice, can't wait to see the pictures and info for the build thread.

Yep I agree, John would be very thrilled with this, in more ways than one. I also am super excited. I can't thank Kris more for heading up this project and doing the planning, otherwise I'd be staring at the motor all day long ha. But I asked Kris to make it to where I could continue to use the shift on the fly switch on the radio bezel, so we'll eventually swap out the transfer case to make it that way. First and foremost, get the motor in and let her purr.

Excited for ya Chris! :bounce:

Besides doesn't a v8 make everything better? ;)

Dang, one more thing this ST will inspire me to spend more money on. Gonna love following this.

I'm excited to get this done only two months away to the swap
