Read passenger door not opening!

Hi, my rear door has been stuck shut for awhile now, and I can't figure how to get it open. I managed to get the panel off, without messing it up, and tried pulling on the rod manually but it still won't budge. The outside of the door is very loose and floppy. Could it possibly be the child safety is on? It used to work on the inside, but the outside has been broken for awhile now. If it is the child safety is there a way to turn it off without the door being open? If you have any ideas on getting it open please feel free to tell me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Make sure the door is unlocked and pull up on the rod that goes to the outside door handle. It should open regardless of the child safety lock.
Sounds to me like your actual lock is stuck locked, not the child safety stuff.

The door is probably locked, as aformentioned prior.
