tip: when/if you've replaced the motor, the rear window must be closed before the motor will work. i wasted a lot of time trying to test the new motor with the window open until that dawned on me.
oh, and the wiper arm spring is notorious for getting weak and that causes the blade to not contact the glass in the center of its sweep. my advice would be, that unless you really need the rear wiper to work, forget about it. it's not worth the time and money to get it to work properly and the fix won't last. it's just a bad design.
