For those of you with lifted trucks...

Do you get a lot of lights flashed at you because your lights are so high and more at the other guys eye level?

How does the law address the hight of your headlights?

Thanks....

Ive been told that when you lift your truck you are SUPPOSED to reaim your headlights. However I have noticed many don't. There are laws on this.

I actually have less people that think I have my highbeams on after my 2" lift. I didn't reaim them. In TX, there are laws regarding max height of your headlights and how they should be aimed, but they're never enforced. You'll only get pulled over if you run around with your Hella or PIAA driving lights on all the time. There are also laws regarding the necessity of fender flares to cover the tires, but those aren't enforced either. The light laws I have seen enforced a lot lately are regarding clears, and their decreased visibility and reflectiveness.
