is there a trick? I've been working on it entire evening to no avail.

1995 "X" with OHV engine... all the bolts have been removed (bottom two cut off at the head... lines disconected, wiring disconected and still no bugging at the bottom - there is a crack up on the top but nothing at the bottom. Is it possible for the bolts to weld themself in those holes??? will I have to drill them out or what?

help!

Starter out? Torque converter unbolted? If so on both counts and all bolts are truly out or cut off, you may just have to wiggle it around or jack the tail up and bang on it to get it loose. I know when I took my Sport apart to part it out, the tranny was stuck on pretty good. Ended up beating on it with a rubber mallet to crack it free, and then using a pry bar between the bell housing and the engine block to help separate it.

I got $5 on the torque converter bolts

Is this an automatic?

You cut the bottom exhaust bolts?

a few small details would be oh so nice

I've been jerking it up and down and to both sides... yes, starter is out, torque converter bolts are out... we are tearing this 95 down for parts. As far as I can remember it was much easier to remove tranny on my 94... just unbolt it and slide it off...

will take another swing at it tomorrow morning...

thanks,

bottom exhaust bolts?
