SAS Swap Summer 2004

Well when Summer 2004 get here i plan to swap in a D44. The D44 will be hung with leaf springs and will prolly run a crossover steering.

Reason im gunna run a d44 instead of d30:
i want to run a 37" tire.

Now at first its gunna be goofy with the 31"s and all that lift but by the end of 2004 i hope to have 37" X-Terrains on Black Rockcrawlers.

im gunan kee pthe stock 8.8 rear end..

now i have some ?'s

What gear ratio should i run for 37"s tires.

Also if i can find it in the fund im prolly gunna run a snorkel.

Definately 5:13s.

do that and a c4 swap and you will be set

LOL, if/when you get that bad boy SAS'd and running 37s nicely..................the cost to put on a snorkle will seem like chump-change!!

Why kind of D44 are you looking to run?
