I finally picked up a new daily driver. I still have the Mountaineer if anyone wants it! :p:

It's a 2004 F250
6.0L
Lariat
4.5" Donahoe Lift
Some ghey metric MTRs which I think are 34.6"?

I normally wouldn't buy an already lifted truck, but this one had the exact lift I would have put on anyways. Plus, the previous owner went overboard putting on about $1k worth of shocks!

Sick, I have been looking at getting a PSD for a little while now. What did you get it for if you don't mind me asking?

Whats on the to do list?

 Very Cool now you have no raeson not to show up to T-Haven:p:

I got it for about $25.5k.. which I thought was a good deal.

I don't think I'm going to do too much to it. I'm not the biggest fan of those wheels, so a new wheel/tire package will come shortly (I've had bad luck with MTRs too). Needs some floor mats, a spray-in liner... and maybe intake and exhaust. I definitely want this thing to stay as reliable as I can keep it. So no chip or any of that that. :o

Thats a good deal comparing what I have been looking at over here on the EC. How many miles?

Yes!! Now we can have a DD/tow rig party. Let's shoot for the beginning of next month... ;)

:( i wish I had a tow rig....sigh..

can you just leave the bii in zukman's driveway and snake the 250? :D

LOL...actually when I sell the B2 (sometime in the next 6 mo. or so hopefully) that will be the down payment on a DD/Tow rig:D

Some mods on the way!

Looks like I am doing an 05-07 front end conversion on it. Just got a great deal on an '07 grille. Well, Froader did, anyway.

I also plan to try and install the 2005-2007 lower dash panel with the integrated trailer brakes. This pic is from my Dad's '07.

There is a version without the Aux switches that I plan on using.

Here is what mine looks like now:

I've been towing the dump trailer with it every weekend so far. It only weighs about 4k lbs full though. So I'd like to get the trailer brakes in it before throwing the Explorer on the hauler.

I have yet to find a decent Super Duty forum. :( Anyone?

Wow that integrated trailer brake looks nice!

I think I may keep this thing and try and retro it to the Van... :)

Pic #3 - I'm guessing the born on dates of the parts?

Looks sick! We'll have a parts swap in a couple weeks.

sweet buy man
that will tow the ex no problem. and the intergrated brake controller is real niceif it were mine
I'd spray the bed with liner, bolt on a backrack, get the newer grille style on and maybe get some of those newer style smoked headlamp lenses.

Nice truck! I like what Ford's done with the Super Duty line for the past few years, especially now with the 2008 line.

I wouldn't get rid of the Explorer for one (_slowly_ getting the X how I want it), but I did enter the sweepstakes for an '08 450 Lariat on the Ford site... Explorer + new Super Duty would be friggin' fantastic. I like the stance that your truck has with that lift, Section, although, if the pictures do the wheels justice, I agree -- they seem too "blingy" to go onto a truck like that.

The diesel stop is kinda like the pirate of diesel forums, it has a bit of everything and lots of good knowledge, deals, and bullshit.

Put about 5k miles on it and it still runs!! Still trying to collect parts for the front-end conversion too.

Since it's $80 in fuel round-trip to come to work (in the city) I have been pimpin' the Jetta most of the time. :(

Pic with my new camera lens!
