I would have traded it to. Cause the only atlas I have is one of these.

...:shifty_ey ... found one..:D

This thread reminds me I still havent done my dual battery setup :( and Im leaving for a 4 day expedition on Friday to the Continental Divide Trail. Oh well, the ARB fridge seems to work good so far off my main battery.

You guys and your new fangled stoves. My newer coleman stove is from the 70s and the one I now primarily use is from the 40s.

...Until recently, I just used fire..:D

...You apparently forgot about the steaks cooked on the fire and who started the fire at the lava camp..:p:

..My normal cooking when camping and have some time is meat, caught fish, home fries, burrito's, or choriso and eggs...When not camping in the woods, I like to also do bacon and eggs, hot spicy sausage patties, or fire dogs..:biggthump

..I'm now getting all set up to cook oatmeal as a staple..:D

I wish we had more time in camp for cooking, etc. I never made cornbread or brownies like I planned...

Oatmeal is a good staple. Necessary on those cold, windy mornings...

..Yea, I'm not a big pizza eater but both your camp pizza's rocked..:biggthump

....Didn't you bake something else too? You should post up a link and some info of your single burner bake set up..;)

..Now that I'm gathering up all this stuff I am planning on doing more camp cooking and spend more time enjoying camping..

..I still believe no matter what the economy is, there is nothing better than going camping..Well, wheeling to remote camp sites is a huge bonus but camping is fun for everyone...:D

I like pizza, but the ones I made in camp were only OK. Of course, given the circumstances, they were fine.

One night in DV, I made chicken and dumplings. Came out pretty good.

The potato, onion, chorizo and egg burritos were great, if I do say so myself!

..Stopped in REI today..

..Seems they are still selling the camp kitchen for $109 now and they had at least two in stock..:dunno:...They also had 1 of the good aqua-tainers with both screw caps like mine but there was no price on it..

..The only things I saw that interested me had no price on them either...I did notice a couple items and they wanted $100 for them and I was like....I'll keep shopping Craigs..

..Another update..

..I forgot to mention the testing we did on both the 6 and 12 egg plastic containers...Surprisingly, we didn't bust any eggs the whole trip so they worked out just fine..:biggthump

We didn't break any eggs, but the Glad bags the egg containers were in did fill up with water. So much for a watertight seal. :(

.....Note to self:

....Get new fridge soon or I'll be like Scott..:p:

..Yea...I could have been like everyone else and slept in the truck but, I am lazy..:(

..Instead, I chose to opt for a room with a view...:biggthump

...You are correct..Probably the best meal and setting to eat it at..;)

Cooking, etc.

Yeah after M/DV trip I am going to have to get more creative (after watching the "Expo" cook all those day's got me thinking.......... Damn! we had some fun didn't we!!!! stay safe, mjmcdowell

...I'm still waiting for the camp cookie to post up his single burner baking setup..

..If I didn't see and taste it myself I would have swore that would never have worked...:biggthump

Next year, in Moab, let's make sure we can make it to camp earlier in the day. I have more to cook!

And brownies...
