when you have both a supercharger and a turbocharger(s) its called twin charging. Theres also compound turbocharging where you can have multiple turbochargers feeding each other. In either case the boost pressure is multiplied when you compress already compressed air. Many people have twin charged wit hsucess but it does take alot of money and knowledge. Some diesel motors have used compound turbocharging to produce boost levels at 150+ psi.

The new Power Strokes are twin turbo'd I believe. A small one for bottom end and a larger one for the rest of the power band.

That is a sequential twin turbo setup like the supras use
