After that we painted it and used spray adhesive on the one side to make the pipe tape stick better, and boy it did.

Then we started to fully fitting it under the hood to be sure there was a good seal to the hood.

I hope you guys like it, now only the air from behind the headlight will go into the filter.

So we noticed that the belt tentioner was on its looses side and we didn't want to go looking for another belt, that can be a PTA.

We didn't want to spend a ton of money on a custom pulley so we went looking for an OEM style pulley.
After looking on the internet we found this,
Dayco - Dayco Idler/Tensioner Pulleys
so we measured our old pulley and it was 30mm thick, and 90mm diameter, with the bearing id being 17mm.

so we ordered a new pulley with a 100mm diameter instead of 90mm

this is what we were left with when we replaced the pulley
now it it in the middle
and this is how it is tracking in the idler pulley

That's not very much, great for a boosted engine in nine days. That engine doesn't need that for that small amount, though it's nice to be able to catch it.

I think this is the one I'll be going with on my next build. I really like having vacuum also.

Vacuum/Boost gauge to max 20lbs. I'd like an accurate gauge that would read to 10lbs. I couldn't find anything, might need to go outside the auto industry to find a one........

inexpensive and accurate manual boost gauges
I have a cheapo bosch that I use to test things like the small Yanmar turbo diesel and the 7.3 trucks around here
Works fantastic for $30
bosch manual boost gauge - Google Search
hook up the hose and know what your boost is
