Or just fly in by me, and have Turdle meet here.

Take in a hockey game, stop at one of the casinos, have a big steak dinner, then figure out what to do for the rest of the day..... cough.... strip club.....cough.

I see a build party happening at gmans house. At least let me get my axle swap finished.

I'm down for that.

I have 2 guest rooms, 3 couches, and a finished basement that air mattresses/cots can be set up for at least another 6 people. lol

Oh, and a huge ass BBQ Grill. :D

I was checking out your slider build... i need a set of those.

That's an older thread. lol

They are heavy duty, and very expensive. Tig welded, gussets, 1/4" and bolt on with plate sammich. They took a few people to make, and a lot of time invested. Don't feel like going thru that again. lol

If Money isn't a factor, and If you do it just like these, just be prepared to spend & take a lot of time for all the steps involved. These are not a weekend build.

You can cut costs/labor by foregoing the gussets/nerfs, using thinner metal, Mig instead of Tig, less legs, welding to the frame, and spray paint over powder coat.

I plan on making another set for the 94, but not as extreme. I will simply weld them (instead of bolt on) to the frame. Might even use a set of pre-made 70" tube slider kits, for half the cost as the Black Hole's. I want a set that has nerf kickouts in front of the rear tires. I installed a set like that on the FJ, and was amazed, how well they worked pushing the entire rig away from obstacles, and saved body damage.

thats a really good idea

Food, food, food, we crave sustenance.

OOOOHHHHHH :-) I can not wait to see your explorer in person.

Scored this for the rig at half price. Brand new Ready Welder II. Will just load it with flux wire for trail repairs.
