I'm not ready.. I'm getting close.. I think I'm closer this time than I was for the last opening wheeling trip.
Things to do..
Change seals and install front pig into axle beams
Install Axles
Put front brakes back on
Rotate tires on the Van
Check/Replace rear brakes on the Van
Check Trailer and fix anything broken

Well, I got one thing done and found 2 more things...
I need new RA bushings on the Van..
I also found out I have almost 1/2 in play on the draglink/pitman arm connection on the X. I need to fix that..
Raising hand. I am not sure on work yet but it is looking like I might be able to make it. I just wont have my truck and will just be for the day on Saturday.
Well I guess I should have added front brake pads to this as I found out on the way to work this morning, got half way, then had turn around and go back home to fix. I'll post the all steel pad image later
Good news however is forecast is calling for 80* at T-haven
Man it's been a few years from when I went out there with all of you guys... sounds like so much fun, my sport is getting a SAS right now and is not going to be done for a few more weeks so I don't think I am going to make it. I will have to keep checking on here to see when the next run will be after I get the X back... Hope you all have a good safe time out there!!
I replaced the bent tie rod that also had bad joint (> 1/4" play) and filled the front diff and set the toe. I'll put in the Camber bushings in tonight and put the j-hooks in I forgot to install when I put the springs in..
Tomorrow I start work on the tow rig..
I'm really feeling the pull of truckhaven now...

I'm going to aim leave between 3AM and 6am on Friday so I can get there between Noon and 3 pm. If I'm alive I may even leave closer to midnight.. Its about 9 hours for me to get there, depending on flats, dead alternators etc..
