The usual spot off Marina shouldn't be too bad that weekend should it?
I think CORVA usually has some kind of run that weekend too but they always camp further up.
Either way, whatever works for everyone else

Sorry to hear that Chris. Try and make the big run. That is supposed to me the positive part of owning your own business. Leave when you want, at least that's what I do.
:
I thought I might be out for this run, but I'm still in. Either camp spot is fine with me but like Dave said, I think our normal spot will be fine.

Off Marina should be fine. Don't forget firewood!!!
I just spent $720.00 because the gas station I filled up at in Carlsbad had diesel in their unleaded tank. Totally messed up my Camry's fuel lines, injecters, plugs, tank, etc.. The company is admitting fault and says they are going to reimburse me. They also said it ruined 28,000 gallons of fuel that was in that station tank for the weekend. What a pain in the rear! I got to drive the Explorer to work for the last two days though, so its not all bad. Ever wonder why people crawl up the rear of lifted trucks with big steel bumpers? I sure can't figure out the logic in that one. Almost got rearended by a Hyundai when I took my foot off the gas after I got tired of the tool being five feet off my bumper at 70, in the slow lane.

I'm sure the front end of that car would fold up like a deck of cards if it rear ended you with that heavy gauge bumper of yours. I can see your reaction now...laughing at the idiot while you pat your undamaged Explorer

MLK weekend is the annual CORVA poker run which is open to all forms of offroad vehicles. That's the weekend I did donuts around the ATVers... Just a warning...

FYI, corva moved their run to the weekend ofJan 21..
http://www.corva.org/events/truckhaven12.html
I don't have the vacation time, so it is really iffy for me. I do have Monday off.. Anyone else going to be around? If so, then I'm more inclined to motor on down and come back up monday..
