swak I'll try to find somewhere we can go out with 2 wheelers.

I figure some trails like big bend are not real bad from what I hear. I know thats far but that is just an example for now, I will look into finding some trails with good scenery and mild offroad requirements. You know the kind where if your an excellent driver you could make it through, but if you are not the perfect driver a fellow member with a 4x4 can tug you out of where ever you are. MY FEELING TOWARDS THESE THINGS IS IF I GO OUT THERE WITH YA, I WILL NOT IN ANY SITUATION LEAVE WITHOUT YOU. I WILL GET YOU HOME, EVEN IF I HAVE TO PULL YOU THROUGH THE HOLE TRAIL.

Trust me I know how it feels to be stranded. When I went to the Arizona run in Feb. My tranny crapped out, I almost didn't make it back. It took 14 qts of tranny fluid and only stopping for gas where gas stations where on top of a hill (I had no first gear to take off with only second, third, and fourth). That's why I bought a new Truck and a new Trailer. So it never happens again. That's why I think its a good idea for us Texans to stick together, That way if we get stranded out of state there will just about always be others in the group going back near the same city to make sure you don't stall out in the middle of nowhere by yourself.

I hate to sound like a grump. But 2wd Explorers are not fun to have on the Trail.

I too would not leave some one behind but, It does make problems for the 4x4 Guys having to pull people out. I have nothing against 2wd, hell I have bought 3 2wd Explorers myself. (Two of which bacame 4x4s afterwards)

Also if are not aware of what is needed to go out on the Trail please read the link below written by Gerald,

Mudd*****,

Thanx for the call yesterday, sorry we were unable to meet up with you guys, but after spending the majority of the day in that 100+deg. weather we we're all pretty baked.

Sorry about the call being so short, when you called we were just jambed up in some traffic that was trying to avoid a couch in the middle of I-35 and as you know everyone was in a panic, so I was having to do some piloting manuvers.

I wanted to thank everyone who showed up, that was nice for such short notice, I will be e-mailing pics to Msupertek and Mustang1923 so that they can post them.
Guys I have made tapes of the day too and will be mailing them out on Monday!

Mudd***** SVT Girl and I don't live very far from you all and we frequently visit in you area so be forewarned that we'll hook up here in the next few weeks and go at it again, this time I give a few more days notice than what was done this time!

Thanx go out to:

Mustang1923 (Explorer Sport)
Msupertek and his co-heart in crime (Explorer 4dr)
MudDuck (Jeep Rubicon w/less than 1000 miles on the clock)
Best Buy Brandon (1986 Prospector)
SVT Girl for all the video camera work.

Special Thanks to:

Msupertek and MudDuck for getting us stuck ppl out of our own demise!

It still seems to drive straight! lol!
